Terms of use

The terms for using this website. Your LightControl subscription itself is governed by the agreement that comes with it, not this page.

Acceptance

By using lightcontrol.io (the "Site"), you agree to these terms. The Site is operated by ShelfControl LLC (Columbus, Ohio, USA). If you don't agree, don't use the Site.

What this covers

These terms cover the marketing website only. Access to the LightControl application is governed by a separate subscription agreement provided when you become a customer; if the two conflict, the subscription agreement wins for the application.

Use of the Site

  • Use the Site lawfully and don't interfere with its operation.
  • Don't probe, scan, or test the Site's security except with written permission.
  • Don't scrape or harvest information about others from the Site.
  • Submit accurate information through the contact form and only about yourself or an organization you represent.

Content and trademarks

The Site's content, design, the LightControl name, the filament mark, and "The art of light. The ease of the sale." belong to ShelfControl LLC. You may view and link to the Site; you may not republish its content or use the marks without written permission. Third-party product names on the Site (for example QuickBooks, Stripe) belong to their owners and appear only to describe compatibility.

No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is." Product descriptions summarize the platform; they are not a promise of specific features or dates, which are set out in the subscription agreement. We may change or take down any part of the Site at any time.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ShelfControl LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Site. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes will be resolved in the courts located in Franklin County, Ohio.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes with it. Continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
